Once you start canning food at home, you’ll want to find canning recipes to put up everything in a convenient shelf-stable package. I’ve been so busy this summer, not only with my garden, but also with getting my pantry well-stocked for what I expect might be a very bumpy fall.
In particular, I’ve been shifting a lot of my preps away from frozen foods to dehydrating and canning. Every year it seems we have at least one hurricane and there is always a chance the power will go out.
The last thing I want to worry about is losing a freezer full of food because of an extended power outage.
That said, I’ll be starting a new series on the various items I have canned this summer to stock my pantry, as well as projects I’ll be tackling as we head into the fall.
Here are some of the recipes that I will be covering, so be sure and subscribe so you can be notified when new articles are published.
